Who Is 9D Breathwork For?

One of the most common questions I’m asked is:
“Is 9D Breathwork right for me?”
The gentle answer is — if you’re feeling the pull, there’s usually a reason.
But let’s explore that more clearly.
If you’re looking for 9D Breathwork in Wiltshire because something inside you feels stuck, overwhelmed, tired, or ready to shift… this work may meet you exactly there.
9D Breathwork Is Often For You If…
You Hold Stress in Your Body
If you notice tension in your shoulders, tightness in your chest, shallow breathing, jaw clenching — your body may be carrying more than your mind realises.
9D Breathwork works directly with the nervous system and the somatic body. It allows stress patterns to move physically, not just cognitively.
Many people who attend my Chippenham breathwork sessions say they didn’t realise how much they were holding until they finally exhaled.
You’ve “Talked It Through” But Still Feel It
Perhaps you’ve done therapy. You understand your patterns. You can articulate your triggers.
And yet — the emotional charge is still there.
9D Breathwork (developed by Brian Kelly) works beneath analytical thought. It supports the parts of the nervous system where stress, trauma patterns and emotional memory are stored.
It doesn’t replace therapy — it complements it beautifully.
If you’re already working with me through clinical hypnotherapy or nervous system support, breathwork can deepen and accelerate integration.
You Feel Anxious, Overstimulated or Burnt Out
Modern life — holding families, businesses and responsibilities — can leave the nervous system constantly “on”.
If you struggle to switch off…If sleep feels broken…If your mind races at night…
9D Breathwork can help regulate the stress response and guide your body back into parasympathetic rest-and-repair mode.
Many clients across Wiltshire and the South West come initially for anxiety support — and stay because they experience something deeper: reconnection.
You’re Navigating Change
Divorce. Grief. Perimenopause. Parenting transitions. Career shifts. Identity changes.
Sometimes we don’t need more advice.
We need space to feel.
Breathwork creates a contained, safe environment where emotion can move without judgement or analysis.
You don’t have to explain your feelings in the room. You just breathe.
You Feel Disconnected From Yourself
This is more common than people realise.
You might be functioning well on the outside — but feel flat, numb, or separate from your own body.
9D Breathwork gently rebuilds that connection.
Not dramatically.Not forcefully.But steadily.
Is It Only for Emotional Release?
No.
Some sessions are activating and cathartic.
Others are deeply calming and restorative.
If you’re local to Chippenham or surrounding areas in Wiltshire, you can choose between group journeys or private 1:1 sessions depending on what feels safest for you.
Sometimes the most profound sessions are quiet ones.
Who It May Not Be Suitable For
While 9D Breathwork is safe for most people when facilitated correctly, it may not be appropriate if you:
Are pregnant
Have unmanaged cardiovascular conditions
Have epilepsy or seizure disorders
Have recently had surgery
Are experiencing severe or unstable mental health symptoms
If you’re unsure, please contact me before booking a 9D Breathwork session in Wiltshire and we can talk it through.
Safety and nervous system stability always come first.
You Don’t Need Experience
You don’t need to:
Have done breathwork before
Be spiritual
Be good at meditation
Know what your “issue” is
You simply need a willingness to breathe and a little curiosity.
Everything else unfolds from there.
